Nightwaking On Hands and Feet

A truly peculiar thing.

For the past 2 months (or maybe one month), Jack has been waking up in the middle of the night and in the mornings - not all the time but most of the time - somehow standing on his hands and feet, eyes closed and crying. I quickly carry him and turn him to lying down again, nurse him, and he's out like a light again.

This evening, it happened again about 3-4 times. 2 times he didn't even seem to be awake. I turned him back and patted his back and he was asleep again. The last time I nursed him a bit and he fell asleep again.

I'm searching online to see what it could be. But so far the one post I found was of another mother whose baby is doing the same and she is as perplexed as me. Hmm...
