This sounds like something out of the movie The Core
where Hilary Swank and team drill themselves into the core to get the Earth spinning again. Bizarre? But pretty remarkable, especially on the heels of news of the discovery of a sea as large as the Arctic under Beijing. It looks to be an exciting month ahead for science.
